I enjoyed watching the occultation of Venus by the moon almost directly overhead at 10: 11 this morning. It reappeared at 11:44 this morning in Sacramento. If you do not have a scope, look for the thin crescent moon high in the western sky at around noon and you will be able to see Venus beside the moon on the west side with your naked eye in broad daylight.
