What with the mushy seeing and bright moon, I spent most of the evening socializing or doing some of the brighter Messiers. M51, M93, M13, M3, M104
Using my 10" Starfinder Dob, I was relearning my star-hopping after spending so long with my coffee bean grinder - er LX-200. :-)
Thanks for the pointers "3 Dob" Bob !
I managed to give a great display of tube currents whilst waiting for my OTA to cool, and spent most of the evening moaning about my collimation being out. I checked today with my Cheshire tool and it is *way* out!
Good to be out with some of the dogs again.
