I looked it Mars Sunday morning 3am. with my Edscorp 3" f/15 refractor. It was low on the horizon, but I was able to make out a white cap and some shading next to it. I was using my Intes 2.5x barlow and Mead 9.8 SP eyepiece, gave me 287x power. I pushed it up to 450x power by switching to Mead 6.3 SP, but it didn't give better view. This is my first view of Mars, I can't wait when it gets 22 arc second in July to see more details. It's only half the size now, 12".
