Time for some lunch time observing again. I took Archer's advice and found a free place to put my drawings. Here is the link http://www.zing.com/album/?id=4292783887. It's slow but its free.
Over the last week the large group 9415 has moved across the face from the eastern limb to the near the western limb. In that time it has changed quite a bit, shrinking in it's journey. With just these few days (also a drawing from the 3rd not fit to post) of observations it is easy to see the different rates of rotation for the equatorial and polar regions. Pretty cool.
The drawings I have posted cover the 5th, 9th, 10th, and 12th. I think that my scale is getting better (practice makes perfect) with the 10th and 12th being pretty close.
The next endeavor will be to try drawing some of my favorite (so far) deep sky objects, but I don't think I'll post those until I get the hang of it.
