It's been a long time since I have done any observing with the group. Last night my son Alex and I went to Dino Point to try out his new Orion XT8 and enjoy some observing.
It was wonderful. Temps were comfortable, skies were clear, fairly dark, and nicely steady. We had a great time. Alex was off finding clusters in a few minutes and is very pleased with the scope. Thanks everyone. Thanks for the company, the help with collimating the scope, finding such a nice location and being such nice folk.
I hope that it isn't as long 'til the next time.
