Hand in the air over here. Got out some simple optics, hours after the naked eye fu with Liam. 1:30 I was heading for the rack, and here was Virgo right up there. Corvus over the palm tree. Could see Coma at zenith. In our backyard Berenice's hair is a treat. First time I've seen it this turnaround, so went and got the binocs (the new ones, Orion Ultraview 10x50's, nice). Gazed at that vast old cluster, going deep in layers. So cool in darker skies. Stood there, looking up and down from Cor Caroli to Arcturus. Before you know it I was looking at M3. It was singing. Ran thru the realm of the galaxies and indulged in averted imagination. Back to M3. Ooooh man.
Spring's around the corner. Beats fretting over the future of TAC, which as of last night I might have gotten out of my system.
