I set up Harvey and went off in pursuit of deep-sky stuff; logged 123 objects, of which 97 were new to me. I did not get set up till about 10 PM, and my own (Radio Shack) electronic temperature/relative-humidity monitor showed a maximum humidity for the evening in the mid 80 percents, with a minimum temperature of 3 C. I wonder if persons recording lower humidities at the same time were not suffering from the effects of dew collecting on or near their meters. I had my dewcap and Kendrick set up, but the latter at only a low setting. The (black) seat of my observing chair dewed, but the windows and (pale blue) roof of my car did not.
It was a very clear night; I was working pretty close to the southern horizon, and doing well.
