Who was there, and was it worth the trip?
We had about nine cars and as many telescopes, up through an 18-inch. Seeing was reported very good, though I with my 70 mm Vixen fluorite did not have occasion to go above 47x, as I was chasing deep-sky objects. There were a few waves of passing cloud, but plenty of dark sky between them. I didn't bring out my thermometer -- it was cold enough that I didn't want to know the details, but someone said at one point that the temperature had dropped to 28 F. I encountered no dew on my optics, telescope, or car.
