I couldn't decide where to go tonight so I just stayed put...out in my driveway (near Mt. Hamilton Road). I spent two hours having fun. Nice night and not cold. I spent most of my time in two areas of Orion:
Question: What does it take to *really* see the nebulae in these areas with a 10" dob?
I meticulously followed star charts and really got to know these areas very well. I saw where the nubulae *should* have been.
Question: Do I *really* have to see the nebulae to check them off on my list? ;-)
