Late report from Dino Point

by James Turley

Yep...

After the moon set, we had a wonderful night at Dino Sat 12/30/00. I am preparing my observation report now.

I left at 2AM, after Albert, who guessed limiting magnitudes were 6.8 maybe. Humidity did stayed high, up to 98%, but no one was complaining too much.

On the way home at 101 and 152, the visibilty was 1 foot. No way was I going to merge with the big rig traffic on the highway, so I pulled to the side before the exit and slept in my car until 7am. The fog was bad, but navigable.

A great night at Dino.
