I'm sketching the Hesiodus Sunrise Ray right now at 9:30 PDT or 4:30 UT 10-7-2000. It has been fun to watch the ray widen. And doing a sketch of the Straight fault tonight, too. I'm using my 10 inch f/7.3 homemade dobsonian reflector, (my first telescope) with a 6mm Lanthanum for 309X. I also have my smaller 6 inch f/5 reflector out for comparison. Another 6mm lanthanum is in that telescope too. It's windy but clear here a little north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Back to the sketchpad...
