I have posted the CCD images that I took on Saturday night / Sunday morning at LSA - see below.
I had a wonderful time meeting new people and old friends. It was a great night (only one!) for me. I'm looking forward to next year. Or maybe even later this month.
Inspired by Paul Lefevre's idea of imaging the Messier catalog, I focused primarily on Messier objects. The more I learn about CCD imaging, and the more skills I acquire, the harder I seem to work to obtain good images. But it's also more rewarding, and the results are getting better.
All images taken with a Starlight Xpress MX916 camera, Homeyer CFW w/SBIG IR-blocking filters, 6" f/8 A-P refractor, GM100 mount, ST4 autoguider.
