I had checked with Starry Night before taking a look and noticed that Io was in transit. But I hadn't noticed that Europa and Ganymede were in shadow. So I was very surprised to see only one moon! "What happened to those other two moons?!", I said. Then I checked and sure enough SN showed them eclipsed. It also showed that Europa would emerge from the shadow just a minute or so before it disappeared behind Jupiter's limb. That was fun to watch. And at the same time Ganymede emerged from shadow. A good night for moon action :-)
