Just want to tell you me and my wife had lot of fun at Coe last saturday. The weather was great.
I parked next to Charly's 20" home made, motorized trust-Dob and I had a chance to look in a big scope. I went back and fort comparing what I can see through a 20" and my 8" SCT. I could not see the Veil Nebula in the 8" but 20" showed it very clearly. I guess this object needs a very dark sky for smaller aparture to show. We had a good time all night.
I started my website, posted a few quickcam pictures I took with my 8" SCT. I modified a color and a b&w camera,but I'm still experimenting which is the better.
