Moon vs. Uranus, + Jupiter

by James Ferreira

Nice report, Matt. I too estimated about 15 seconds for Uranus to extinguish completely. The seeing was quite turbulent and I was not able to observe at very high magnification. I was using video on a 10" Newtonian and I cannot really resolve the disk of Uranus. When I have more time I will review the video and try to nail down the duration between first and second contact. And capture to computer some images of the occultation.
