I was out in the backyard with my 8" SCT and C102 refractor looking at the moon. For the first time, I saw what appeared to be the shadow of 'objects' transiting the moon. It was very cool. :-) The first object appeared at about 8:28 and was a tri-lobbed object that was spinning. I saw the same thing again at about 9:08. A little later, I didn't check my watch, I saw a circular shadow going across the face of the moon. Observations were through the eyepiece and the objects were not very large, smaller in the eyepiece than Copernicus at least.
