It was a fun night at Houge Park last evening.
Most of were looking at the Moon. David N. gave a Moon class that night is a part of the SJAA series of beginning astronomy classes.
There was a shoot out between a 10" Newt and a 6" Mak Newt. I don't know who won. I had my AP 130EDT. The seeing was reasonably good. There were quite a few visitors. There were a number of us TACies at Houge. Mark W. had his 10" snake scope on an EQ platform.
Houge Park is an in town site but it is still a lot of fun on a first quarter Moon night. I'm not sure how many scopes but I would guess more that twenty.
