I had the opportunity to go to a new observing site Saturday Night but unfortunately I can't tell you where it is, at least not for a month or so. I promise, when the time comes, I'll tell you where it is. But suffice it to say, the site is EXCELLENT.
6/19/99 Observing, Site X, conditions excellent, Moon 1st Quarter, sky glow very low, moisture content very low, temperature very warm 63 degrees. 10"DOB.
Actually began the session about 0000 hours 6/20.
Primary Target area Sagittarius, Ophiuchus, Scutum.
Finished around 0120 hours 6/20. Wanted to stay longer but it was a long drive home and I wanted to get to sleep before dawn.
This is the SECOND observation and I definitely think its Pluto as its move in angular position from my last recorded sighting (It was at 5:30 position relative to my reference star about a week ago).
No can't finds. Just not enough time to finish my planned target list.
