6/6/99

6/6/99 Observing, Tonopah, conditions Excellent, Moon almost new, sky glow low, moisture content low, temperature cool 58 degrees. 10" DOB. Most of the NGC's were real tough. Used 57X on most NGC's. They certainly aren't as easy as Messiers! Maybe better sky would help.

Began about 2130 hours 6/6. Venus, Mars and Spica easy targets. Surface features on Mars visible.

Began deep sky observing at about 2200.

Primary Target area Draco, Cepheus, Scorpius.

Finished around 1230 hours 6/7.

Tonight sorta makes up for not being able to observe last night.
