This is not a real first light report, that will come when we get some good clear skies. But for those that have been following the progress my 12.5" ATM project I am happy to report that I am the proud owner of a very good Truss Tube Dobsonian Telescope.
The skies last night were far less than ideal for testing a new telescope, but the views of M95, M96, M35, M44 and M3 were fantastic! Views of the crescent moon were tack sharp, stars were pinpoint with no sign of coma with any of my eyepieces. Movement is smooth and precise.
Thanks for all your encouragement.

P.S. I'm really ready for some clear skies now!
