Lights out at Montebello!
By Jay Reynolds Freeman

I had a quite nice view of Saturn through the Vixen 70 at 140x. The Cassini division was well defined, the Crepe Ring evident, the broad dark band on the southen half of the disc showed some kind of structure -- I did not figure out quite what. The shadow of the globe on the ring was neat, and it was interesting how much dimmer the A ring was, than the B. I could not see any structure in the A ring, however.
