Observing tonight (Sat)
by Rich Neuschaefer
This evening I took my 55mm f/8 Celestron fluorite doublet refractor out
on my camera
tripod for a little obervign. The Moon looked nice as with a 5mm Tak LE
eyepiece and
with a 7.5mm Tak LE and a 2x Orion Shorty barlow. A little alter I
looked at Saturn
and Orion. Saturn looked nice and sharp with the 5mm LE. M42 and the
Sword, very nice.
I found I could see Rigel and its companion with the little 55mm.
Sorry, not a lot of detail about what I saw. The detail was there.
