Last night I was working thru the Astronomical League's list of 100 double stars (which Richard Bell kindly provided in electronic form). I noticed that Xi Scorpii and Struve 1999 (SAO #s 159665 and 159670) are very near each other, about 5 arc minutes. They're nearly as close as the famous "Double Double", Epsilon Lyrae, though not as bright. Check it out next time you get the observing itch but are stuck in the city or the moonlight.
