Ohh Saturn's moons,,,

by Greg LaFlamme

Had to re-fill the coffee cup and thought I'd post a quick o.i. From Alameda, with my 15" @ 420x I can see Saturn's bands in sharp detail. I almost think I can make out a couple white, round storm tops but maybe its glare or something. I can see clearly Dione, Enceladus, Hyperion, Mimas, Rhea, Iapetus, Titan and Tethys is just above the disc of the planet! I don't recall ever seeing 8 at once :-) There are a couple faint stars near the rings and I just used the Sky6 to identify the moons and there names. Going back out.. GML
