Finally saw McNaught

Wandered out back of my office building at 5:15 pm and finally got a good look at this comet, both naked eye and with 10x50 binocs. It was beautiful and well worth the numerous evenings this week that I have dedicated to finding it. It slowly sank into the roof of the Qualcomm building from my vantage point here in San Diego.

I invited everyone in my office to come out back and look, got lots of satisfying oohs and aahs from the group.

I can sleep peacefully now.
