Two Iridum flares, Coyote Lake, June 19th.

by Rich Neuschaefer

Monday night, June 19, five of us were observing at Coyote Lake. The seeing was soft but it was a nice night.

The high point of the evening for me was seeing two iridium flares (two iridium satellites), one about 30 seconds after the other. They were very bright and relatively low in the southwest. They looked to be going roughly the same direction.
