Oz report, first night -- partly cloudy

Four of us (Albert Highe, David Kingsley, Rob Hawley and I) arrived in Sydney early Sunday morning, had fun with the rental car people (who had lost one of our two reservations and didn't have the right vehicle), and finally drove to Coonabarabran.

Mostly cloudy last night, but David and Rob did a little n.e. orientation before the moon rose. Albert and I were snoozin'.

Visited the observatory at Siding Spring today. Saw an amazing lizard on the road who posed for us. Nap time soon, hoping for better skies tonight.
