WR: MB Sat Mar 25 2006

Rather than an OR, a Weather Report is more appropriate. Six of us waited till about 8:45pm before giving up. Occasional stars were seen between fast-moving clouds and through two scopes and a pair of binoculars, but not for long enough to even align a scope. My best guess is that the clouds were created by moist air blowing over the hills and that it never really cleared up, although down home the sky was clear. Somewhat like the cloud bank we often see in late summer. The fog did not come all the way down to the Monte Bello parking lot, being in the "shadow" of the somewhat higher Skyline Ranch.
