Great Night for Faint Fuzzies in Bunches

by Shneor Sherman

Saturday night at IHOP was very good - seeing was good to very good, transparency was excellent until about 11; high clouds began to roll in, by midnight I couldn't even see a bright galaxy in Leo. But 6 good hours! More tomorow.

After 45 minutes composing an OR, my PC crashed - all gone, though done live on Yahoo.

So in brief, it was very cold at IHOP last night, teens to low 20s, good transparency, good seeing, I viewed about 15 planetaries, 6 groups/clusters of galaxies, a couple of globs, started to pack at 12:15 a.m. when clouds began to move in from northeast and northwest.
