TSP 2005

by Darrell Lee

Dennis and I also arrived at TSP. Skies did clear Sunday night, and I finished about 33 of the 50 items on the easy binocular observing list. I also started a couple of the Advanced Observers list Arp Objects. Dennis and Len got 8, while I only got 2 since I was doing it part-time. Super good skies with intermittant fuzzzy transparency and clouds. I could see deep into Ursa Minor naked eye, and the Milky Way from Sagittarius to Cygnus was brilliant this morning. Clear Sky Clock doesn't look good tonight, and weather predictions don't look good for tomorrow night, either.

Bill, we're set up about 3 or 4 scopes away from tghe 36" Obsession at the NE side of the field closest to the trees. We have a blue and white canopy. 18" Nightsky, 18" Obsession, 14.5 Astrokit, and an 8" EQ-mounted SCT.
