Bright Light in Sky Blinked Out ISS?

Last night, was driving home at 9:02 PM on 85N in San Jose, and there was a bright, reddish "star" half way between Venus and the horizon, maybe 0 or -1 mag. Then all of a sudden it blinked out.

I initially thought it might be Mars... but too bright, and I rememebered that ISS was supposed to occult Mars from MB. Any body else see this? Could it have been ISS?
