Comet NEAT (C/2001 Q4)

I also observed NEAT from the backyard here in palo alto. . We just looked at it.. didnt bother with the astrometry... In the 15x binos it looked good.. just a hint of a tail coming off the nucleus. Unfortunately, a sapling was obscuring the view in the telescope.. nonetheless, we did manage to bend the tree a bit. I'm looking forward to getting some images of it.

Btw, the weather/wind/clouds settled down quite a bit after sunset. I imagine the coyote crowd had a good night.
