Fremont Peak Oct 3

Rob Griffin and I went to Fremont Peak's Ranger row last night for imaging. We were the only people on the row.

The night was very nice up there. We had a little bit of high and thin clouds blow over about 11pm that were gone in about 20 minutes. The seeing was average, transparancy excellent. Once the moon set, it was really dark up there: the marine layer had done a great job of blocking light all around, even to the north over San Jose.

It was amazing to me that we were the only souls up there. Traffic was brutal getting out of Palo Alto at 4pm. Rob said it took him three hours from Palo Alto to FP taking a 20 minute food break
