Great Night at MB - 6/12/2002

by Peter Santangeli

As it turns out the good news is I had a nice big blanket in the car that had been in there for quite a while, and was able to wrap it around myself for warmth (I *did* have a sweat shirt and light jacket on as well). The bad news is that it is the blanket we use to protect the cars from the dogs hair when we carry her around. My apologies for the foul smell of damp cotton and fox terrier emanating from me :-)

Conditions were quite nice apart from that, but bordered on dewy. A couple of us had our dew heaters prepped, but they weren't really required. The worst conditions got were 48 degrees and 94%.

Thanks also to those who patiently waited for my last image to finish. The results are OK (images always look better the night you take them I find). It's one of the first tricolor images i've been somewhat happy with, but it needs more photons, and I need more practice color balancing. I'll post it if I get a chance.
