I got some very nice views of craters Posidonius, Theophilus and Cyrllus. Then the high clouds came back and I packed up and headed for home.

I was also looking at Cyrillus last night from my Chico backyard. Rich, did you notice the very bright ring shape figure inside the craterwall of Cyrillus? It was kindda cool, it attracted my attention every time I slewed that area.

The seeing was a 7-8/10, but using high magnification the moon resembled a flag blowing in the wind.

Also the crater Burg casted it's shadow in the silhouette of a cat with the ears, face, I could almost see the glowings eyes. And right next to that was Lacus Mortis which formed the tail of the cat, cool.

And then Torricelli, with it's teardrop shape.

This is my first post to TAC., "Hi" My name is Glenn Talbert from Chico CA. I use a C9.25. I've been observing for five years now. I enjoy looking at DSO's, with planetary nebulas being my favorite. I see alot of familiar names on the list.
