Jim Bartolini staged a star party at Gambetta School in Castroville tonight. Really nice people, decent turnout. Lots of gasps, very gratifying. Felix had a ball.
The Moon was esp in good form. Theophillus and its two dance partners were just above the terminator.
As we were wrapping up, two kids came by in a hurry. One had gone home and gotten his buddy, dragged him over to school to see "that star factory." He'll always have M42.
Jim deserves a pile of credit for these events.
