Dino Point 1/22/01, Observing Conditions

by James Turley

PresentAlbert Highe, Archer Sully, Ed Greenberg and another Gentlemen. Visited by Game Warden, who didn't collect.

Arrived 1630, light traffic to find Albert relaxing and already setup. Perfectly clear skies, 63 degrees, 37 RH. Light winds. Temperatures stayed high (43-47)all evening, and RH got to about 74 per cent. Wind was mostly zero. High scud moving in around 1030PM. Horizons vanishing around 11PM. No Dew.

Albert bagged many targets. A nice occultation of IO. We all saw Mercury set around 1830. Lots of targets in Gemini, Lepus. I concentrated on Puppis.

I like Dino.
