Coe

by William G. Schultz

I slept off a long night at Coe. About a dozen or so showed up with a full range of equipment including headlights ;).

Following moonset, the skies darkened fairly well. The temps and wind got us accustomed to seeing Winter constellations. It was never really comfortable. I read 47 degrees when I started the car this AM at dawn. Dew was a minor problem with just a misting on my unheated C11 corrector plate.

I did fairly well despite all this. I bagged about 30 targets on Mark's "Herschell 427" listing.

I had fun and cleared my mind of business problems.
