Paul, you are a trooper!
I was a fool in the driveway last night. It cleared beautifully in Alameda just
before sunset, and I was eager to give the MX916 CCD camera another joy ride. I
set up the Losmandy mount and put the 4" refractor and 80mm guidescope on it,
hooked up the ST4, the MX916 and all the electronics, whipped out the laptop
and had everything all set up and ready to go. Then I was asked by the powers
that be to run a quick errand to return a rented videotape. The video store is
about five minutes from home. On the way home, raindrops began appearing on my
windshield! Quickly rushing home, I jetted the equipment into the garage as
quickly as possible. Fortunately, it was only a light mist, and I don't think
anything became wet enough to be damaged. Except my enthusiasm.
