My thanks to Bruce Jensen, Peter Rathman, and Richard Navarrette for the wonderful introduction to TAC Friday evening. First Light for the Ceravolo HD216 was a success.
When seeing allowed, both Jupiter and Saturn revealed a wealth of detail. The remainder of the evening was spent viewing old favorites like the "double cluster", M35, M37, and of course M42.
I look forward to visiting other TAC sites, and meeting other observers in the coming months.
