Another beautiful moment

I was returning from the Chabot Observatory in Oakland California about 12:29am this morning. Friday nights are the nights the telescope making workshop is held, and I am working on a couple of mirrors there. As I was crossing the Richmond San Rafael Bridge on my way home - with the views of the two other Bay area bridges in sight - the Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay Bridge what do you suppose I saw and heard? A huge green fireball! It had to be mag - 5 if it was anything! It illuminated the sky and provided a dramatic view with our 2500 foot Mount Tamalpais in the background! It was totally gorgeous! The Moon and Jupiter cast alot of light, but the fireball gave some sizzle to the morning sky!
