Mars

by Bill Arnett

Well, tonight was my first good look at Mars this season. I had to peek in the sucker holes but it was worth it. Nothing great to report, but it was fun for me to see it again after the long years since last opposition. I clearly saw Acidalia Planitia and the dark region south of Vallis Marinaris. Not much else was apparent, no polar cap, though I didn't really get a very good look.
