Solar Viewing
By Bill Arnett

That sunspot I saw on the limb a few days ago is now well onto the face of the Sun. It's a nice big spot with a well defined penumbra. I saw absolutely no other features on the disk. This simple situation makes it easy to view the Sun's rotation. It should take about two weeks for the spot to move across the solar disk. Perhaps the sunspot itself will develop, too :-)
